DoorSec Quality Control
At DoorSec we believe that the clients needs are always paramount and with this view in mind we can always ensure that your requirements are met to the full.
Therefore from the beginning we have, wherever possible, made sure our management team have a full understanding of what exactly is required so that we can react accordingly.
We have both on-site supervisors and our assigned teams of security people liaising with your own Management staff. We also operate a policy of unannounced spot-checks being conducted by our own management team on a regular basis.
In addition, our management consultants are always on hand to discuss any problems (which, owing to our strictly implemented criteria, are few and far between) and or further security arrangements you may require.
Doorsec Safety
The personal criteria and training which all prospective consultants have to undergo is designed, with a view to re-assuring our clients and prospective clients that these are the standards which they may always rely on regardless of the size of the assignment or venue allotted to our personnel.
Conflict Management
Doorsec mission is to help their clients create positive fear free environments for staff and service users, they are currently in the process of introducing a national roll out of Physical Intervention Training to all Doorsec sites.
Doorsec has a unique physical skills programme that is simple and effective yet lower in risk for the staff using them and the individuals to whom they are applied. The non-aggressive skills help to calm a situation, as they do not use pain to seek compliance. They are taught in a way that enables staff to identify the least aversive options to achieve the objective. Based on simple yet powerful principles men and women confidently apply these skills in a range of environments to protect themselves, their colleagues and service users/customers.
It will generally be split as follows:
Disengagement
This training examines how staff can reduce the risks of assault through non physical measures and avoid assault through their positioning and approach. They then learn how to disengage from the most common types of assault they can face in their role. This can extend to coming to the aid of another person and non restrictive guiding skills.
Holding
Where the job role may legitimately involve physically escorting or holding an individual, holds are taught that help to protect staff and avoid pain or discomfort for the individual. Such techniques may be required in a variety of frontline roles
Head Door Supervisor
This course highlights the importance of a head door supervisor in the efficient operation of any good door team. The parameters of the supervisor's jurisdiction is clearly defined as well as highlighting key areas such as team building, management liaison etc.
As this is a specific role, specific training is involved. This ensures the ethos and values of LeisureSec plc are carried through effectively. Training includes everything from wage queries, filing the appropriate paperwork, office systems and procedures etc.
A second psychometric test is carried out to assess team leadership abilities and strength of character. A good head door supervisor makes up the back bone of our company.
